Obituary of Kim Nash

Kim Joy Nash of Neversink passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 27, 2018. She was 66. She was the youngest child of William H. and Blanche A. Smith Mitchell, born on September 7, 1952 in Ellenville, NY. Kim was an active member of her community; she was a coach for the Falcons Little League Team, member of the Story Hour Mothers for the Daniel Pierce Library. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Neversink and intricate part of the Easter Bunny Project. She was very active in helping many different charitable organizations. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved her. She leaves behind her devoted husband whom she married June 15, 1974 Tom Nash, her daughters Robin Nash and her fiancé Bruce Frunzi of Grahamsville, Erin Alvord and her husband Shawn of Rock Hill, April Meade and her husband Andrew of Neversink, her grandchildren Jared Nash, Zackary Alvord, Nathan Alvord, Alexander Meade, Amaya Meade and Anthony Frunzi, her sister Loretta Ackerley and her husband Don, her brothers Bill Mitchell and his wife Jackie, Bob Mitchell , Joe Mitchell and his wife Sue, Tom Mitchell and his wife Carolyn, Don Mitchell and his wife Fawn, her sister-in-law Julieanne Nash, many nieces and nephews, and her canine companion Jack. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 12-2:00pm. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Kim's name can be made to the Neversink Fire Department 7486 State Rte 55, Neversink, NY 12765
