Obituary of Virginia Elizabeth Dutcher

Gingir Dutcher, of Hyde Park formerly of Livingston Manor, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was 73. She was the daughter of the late David Howard Duffy and Virginia Agnes Karl, born on May 7, 1945 in Manhattan, NY. Gingir worked for Schmidt's Wholesale for 26 years until her retirement. In her free time she enjoyed her freedom of creativity through her crafts, specifically quilting, knitting and crocheting. She was a charter member of the Calico Geese quilting club. She loved to travel, especially New England. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children: Daryl Dutcher and his wife Olga, of Livingston Manor, Brett Dutcher of Virginia Beach, VA and Dustin Dutcher and his fiance Barbara Kolatis of Eldred; her grandchildren: Matthew, Maura, Daniel, Braydon, Sienna, Ashleigh and Jessica; several great-grandchildren; her siblings David Duffy and Diane Divernieri and her husband John; as well as several nieces and nephews; and her best friend of almost 50 years. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22nd from 7 to 9pm at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd at 12noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Orchard Street Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY.
