Barbara was my only aunt. I loved her very much. She was an amazing woman who had many gifts, but more importantly, she was a genuine, warm, kind person. She was brilliant. My Dad told me she was so bright that she skipped 2 grades in school.
One memory....
I was a kid, about 7 years old. My family and I went to upstate NY to visit my aunt Barbara for a couple of weeks in the summer. She had a small dairy farm at the time. It was amazing to enjoy the love and warmth of my aunt Barbara and my cousins: Doug, Ellen and John. We ate freshly grown corn on the cob and fresh bellpeppers. We explored her farm. It was wonderful.
I will always remember my aunt Barbara.
BDE.
