Obituary of Lydia S. Denly

Lydia S. Denly of Glen Wild passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 31, 1927 in the Philippines. For many years she worked as a nurse at Great River Medical Center. She loved to take care of her patients but more importantly taking care of her family was her first priority. Lydia was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Monticello. Lydia loved to garden and was very proud of her garden. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Richard M. Fletcher and his wife Lisa, her grandchildren Britney Fletcher and he husband Alec, Richard III and Saul Fletcher, Jennifer and Ben Levine, Christopher and Johnathan Greenberg and Jessica Squillante, her great grandchildren Ricky, Elizabeth, Leyna, and Chloe and a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 12-2:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 1:30pm at the funeral home.
