Obituary of Anna Mae Young

Anna Mae Young, of Yulan, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 77. She was the daughter of the late Frank Young and Lillie Mae Reeze, born on January 18, 1941 in Kittrell, North Carolina. Anna loved to be creative, especially through her singing and cooking. You could almost always find her dancing or getting dressed up. And she adored her baby dolls. She was a very happy-go-lucky person and her smile and personality made the whole world shine. She was a loving sister and friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her siblings Alexander Young (Rosa), Robert Young (Carolyn), Samuel Tony Young (Barbara), Corrine Shaw and Lucy Jacobs; her many nieces and nephews; as well as her extended family and friends at Crystal Run Village, Inc. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3pm on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Rev. Norman Graves will officiate. Burial to follow at Woodbourne Cemetery, Parsonage Rd, Woodbourne, NY.
