Obituary of Josephine Grandville

Josephine Grandville, of Livingston Manor, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Westchester Medical Center. She was 74. She was the daughter of the late Murel Tyler and Edith Edwards, born on May 15, 1943 in Livingston Manor, NY. Josephine loved to travel, and visit new places. She looked forward to her Sunday morning breakfast with friends, going to Broadway plays and out for dinner. She was always looking to have a good time with family and friends. But above all else she truly loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her, she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her son Kevin Hammershoy and his wife Barbara, of Long Island; her grandson Adam of Long Island; Sister Joan Welch of Florida; several close cousins; as well as a host of friends. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 13 years, Raymond, who passed away in 2011. A memorial visitation will be held from 11 to 12 on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl St. Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A memorial service will be held at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
