Obituary of Charlotte Levine

Charlotte Levine of South Fallsburg passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. She was 86. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Bella Bresky born on May 16, 1931 in Monticello, NY.

Charlotte was an avid Bridge player and golfer. She also enjoyed playing poker and blackjack. She was a member of the Fallsburg Hadassah and was the proprietor of Fallsburg Lumber; working alongside her husband, Monroe. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children: Leonard Levine and his wife, Donna, Steven Levine and his wife, Ellen, Richard Levine and his wife, Stacy and Lynda Levine; her grandchildren: Casey (Patrick), Benjamin, Nolan (Natasha), Blake Levine, Jacqueline (Russell) Calka, Madison Levine, Morgan and Cody Vegliante, great-grandchildren, Braydan and Arya Levine and Elle Calka, her brother Murray Bresky and his wife Ellen and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Monroe Levine and one brother Carl Bresky.

There will be a funeral service Today, Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 at 3 p.m. Rabbi Barros will officiate. Internment will follow at South Fallsburg Hebrew Cemetery, Glen Wild NY.
