Obituary of Jeananne Kelly

JeanAnne Kelly 52 of Ferndale, NY lost her courageous battle with breast cancer on June 18, 2017. She was born in Ellenville, NY on December 16, 1965 to Ivan and Jeanette Kortright. Jean was a graduate of Ellenville High school, class of 1984. Jean love to travel and spend her time with friends and family. She worked various jobs throughout Ulster and Sullivan County, working with people who had disabilities, amongst other things to finally working at Crystal Run Health Care as a receptionist. Jean also enjoyed to walk at breast cancer walks throughout Sullivan County. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, who she loved very much, Krysta and her fiancé Chris Pekny and son Robby; her brother Blake Kortright; nephew Michael and his wife Amanda Kortright; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins She was predeceased by her parents Ivan and Jeanette Kortright, and sister Bettylou Kortright. A celebration of her life will be held at the Kauneonga Lake fire house on Saturday June 24, 2017 at 11:00am In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jeans name to Relay for life, Ride to Survive, or any other local cancer organizations of one's choice.
