Obituary of David Charles Gordon

David Charles "Panda" "Tits" Gordon, Jr. of Livingston Manor, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. He was 27. He was the son of David M. Gordon Sr. and Vicky L. Dungey, and stepson to Sean Akers. David was born on January 28, 1990 in Harris, NY. David spent as much time as he could with his children, they were the most important thing in his life and truly loved being a father. In his free time he also enjoyed fishing and four-wheeling. He lived life to its fullest capacity, especially when he learned he would be receiving a new heart, what he believed to be his second chance, on May 8, 2016. He was a loving father, fiancé, son, brother, grandchild, and friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. He is survived by his fiancé Trisha Banks; his mother Vicky Dungey and her husband Sean Akers; his father David Gordon, Sr.; his children David Gordon II and Gerrard Gordon; siblings Failien and Kevin Dungey and Vincent Gordon; grandmothers Karen Schwartzman and Sandy Akers; many cousins and extended family; and his best friends whom he considered his brothers: Tommy Doolittle and Matthew Bingham. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Homes, 29 Pearl St. Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will be held at 5:30pm at the funeral home.
