Obituary of Emmanuel Jon Anderson

Emmanuel Jon (Manny) Anderson of South Fallsburg passed away on June 2, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. He was 43. He was the son of the late Rossie L. and Evelyn Satchell Anderson, born on June 12, 1973 at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Manny grew up in the Canarsie section and was an exceptional student. When he graduated he was at the top of his class. Most people remember him as the young kid who would stay on the basketball courts from sun up to sun down and was quoted "he can shoot a rock like Kevin Durant" or he was trying to become a Kung Foo Master. Manny was also the practical joker always playing jokes on his sisters and dear friends. He loved music and especially Bobby Brown. Many could dance like a professional and knew how to have fun. He loved to hang out with fun and funny people and was an all-around great guy and friend. He leaves behind his sisters Latania Moore and Tyasheen Anderson, his brothers Rossie Lee Anderson III, William Rodriguez and Jermaine Rodriguez, two daughters Janelli and Genesis Anderson, nephews Diallayo, Jelani, Amir and Ian and one niece Zanae. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2-4:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 3:30pm with Rev. Graves officiating.
