Obituary of Eugene Walkowiak

Eugene Walkowiak, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Achieve Rehab and Nursing. He was 89. He was the son of the late Leon Walkowiak and Helen Batug, born on November 26, 1927 in Maspeth, NY. Eugene proudly served our country in the US Army from 1946 until 1947. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00am at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY 11792 with full military honors. Deacon James DiGiovanna will officiate.
