Obituary of Timothy D O'Sullivan

Timothy D. O'Sullivan, of Grahamsville, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at home. He was 36. He was the son of Kenneth D. O'Sullivan and Stephanie A Berg O'Sullivan, born on September 9, 1980 in Newburgh, NY. Tim was a proud graduate of Tri-Valley High School where he was very active in sports, specifically in soccer and baseball. He worked first as a house manager for New Hope for 6 years then moved on to work as a correctional officer at Sullivan Correctional Facility for just short of 10 years. In his free time, he enjoyed being outside particularly playing golf with his dad. He was a communicant and parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Woodbourne as well as an alter server when he was younger. He was known for his great smile, sense of humor and being able to make anyone feel good about themselves. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and his memory cherished in our hearts. He is survived by his parents at home; his children Chanlyn Jo and Tyler Kenneth O'Sullivan; sisters Saundra O'Sullivan of Grahamsville, Holly Froehlich and her husband Wade of Ft. Drum, and Katje Krier and her husband Kory of Grahamsville; his nephews Keith, Travis, and Dylan Froehlich and nieces Kenzie and Kaia Krier; his maternal grandmother Nancy Berg of Georgia; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as a host of friends. He was predeceased by his baby brother Kevin O'Sullivan in 1990. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, State Route 42, Woodbourne, NY 12788.
