Obituary of Herbert Thomas Keener

Herbert Thomas Keener, Jr. of Napanoch passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 85. He was the son of the late Herbert T. Sr. and Laura M. Krom Keener, on December 31, 1931 in Ellenville, NY. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1952-1953 during the Korean Conflict. For many years he was a Butcher at Peters Market and A&P. Herbert was a lifetime member of the Kimble Hose Fire Department. He was a dedicated family man that loved to spend as much time with them as possible. He leaves behind his memory to cherish his loving wife of 49 years Laura M. Keener; his seven children; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister and a host of friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 25 at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY.
