Obituary of Andrew Gronka

Andrew Grzonka of Montgomery passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 52. He was the son of the late Andrew and Sylvia Smith Grzonka, born on August 20, 1960 in Orange County, NY. Andrew attended day program at Open Vista Day Habilitation and was a member of the Dark Shadows Fan Club. Andrew liked to watch movies and listen to music. He loved Carrie Underwood and would often refer to her as his "wife". He loved to color and work with tiles; he won various awards in several art shows. He participated in the West Point's Special Olympic Games. Andrew had an awesome personality and he will be missed greatly. He is survived by his family: Frank and Jan Grzonka of Alabama; Joe and Barbara Grzonka of Florida; Mike Grzonka of North Carolina; Pat and John Alarie of Washingtonville, NY; Carol Grzonka of Middletown, NY, several nieces and nephews, and his extended family at Crystal Run Village.
