Obituary of Joscelyn Fyffe

Our beloved Joscelyn Janet Fyffe, nee Brivitt, of South Fallsburg, NY, born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, passed away too soon on March 4, 2013. She was affectionately called Joyce, Aunty, and Mama. She was born on August 20, 1952 to Dudley and Dorris Bryan Brivitt. Joscelyn will always be remembered for her kindness and compassion. To know her was to love her. She loved her family and always held them close to her heart. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind, to honor her memory: her husband, Courtney; her daughter, Simone and her husband, Lamin; her grandson, Aleck; her sisters: Adassa, Vilma, and Annette in Jamaica; nephews: Patrick and his wife, Renae of Connecticut, Barrington, and Audley, and other relatives and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend her wake at the First Baptist Church of Monticello, 29 Liberty Street, Monticello, NY on March 16th, from 9 to 11 a.m., respectively. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. James Matthews will officiate. Interment will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
