Obituary of Daniel Simkins

Daniel Simkins of White Lake passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 61. He was the son of the late Seymour and Sally Schuster Simkins, born on November 25, 1951 in New York, NY. Daniel was loved by everyone that knew him. His personality and charm will always be remembered by his friends and family. He was a member of his Crystal Run Village family since the 1970?s. He attended Sullivan ARC Day Program and he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his brother, Peter; his Aunt Joan of Valley Stream; his cousins, Shirley of Texas, Sandy of Florida, Caren of North Bellmore, Barry and Lawrence of Pennsylvania and his entire extended family at Crystal Run Village and Sullivan ARC. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 12th at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Celebration of Daniel's life will begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Glendale, NY.
