It is with great sorrow that I learned of your dad's passing. I can still remember the first closed session of a board meeting when your dad became very emotional about the length of time it took the district to react to changing policy that would benefit kids. He was a very strongly opinionated man when it came to doing what was right for children and concervative when it came to over 'taxing' the residents. I'm quite fortunate to have worked with your dad for the same reasons. I'm sure your mom is pleased to have him by her side once again. May your families be blessed with their memory.

Dear Michelle, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I was shocked to also see that your mom passed in '08. She was my fifth grade teacher at Little Britain - and was always one of my favorite teachers. She had such a great smile and easygoing demeanor. I met your dad a couple times - he was a sweet man and I could tell how happy they were together, even as a little kid. My heart goes out to you and your family. Mary and I are so sorry to read of the passing of Paul Gallivan. Paul and I served together for six years on the Board of Education in Washingtonville. He was a wonderful friend and hard working Board member. Mary and I enjoyed some memorable times together with Paul and Joan. We extend our condolences to his daughters and their families. Paul was a wonderful father, husband and grand father and he will be sadly missed. Wanaksink Lake will not be the same without Paul and Joan but the legacy will live on through their kids and grand kids! You will be in our prayers.
