Obituary of Carol Ann Vovchik

Carol Ann Frolio Vovchik, 69, of Smallwood passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, November 27, 2014. She will be dearly missed. Carol was born in Brooklyn on August 20, 1945 to the late Anthony and Mary Doerbecker Frolio. Carol was the widow of her loving husband George. Carol leaves behind two brothers: Anthony Frolio and his wife Alice of Smallwood and Michael Frolio of Monticello; Five sisters: Mary Ann Kennedy of Brooklyn; Loretta VanLoan of Kauneonga Lake; Patricia Finelli and her husband John of Middle Village, Queens; Ruth Rusin and her husband Adam of Brooklyn; many nieces and nephews and her best friend Margaret and husband Ray Rusielewicz. Carol is predeceased by her brothers: Joey and Paulie Frolio; and Sister Rosanna Frolio. A visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne NY 12788. A funeral service will be held the same day at 8pm at the funeral home; Rev. David Coon will be officiating. A cremation will be held at the family's convenience; Carol will be buried in the spring at the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery next to her loving husband George.
