Obituary of Gerald J. Gamble

Gerald Junior Gamble passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Henry and Nancy Gamble, born on December 27, 1964 in Monticello New York. He attended Fallsburg Jr. Sr. High School, and was known to many as "UBS"; mostly because of his outgoing personality. Whenever you saw UBS he always had a smile on his face and greeted you with a warm hug. He was a loving son, brother and friend who was always looking to lend a helping hand. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He confessed that he knew his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his parents Henry and Nancy Gamble, one sister Brenda Holmes of Georgia, one brother Henry Hooks of Monitcello, a special cousin Lurita Mitchell whom he considered a sister, five nieces, two nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends that who loved him dearly. The Gamble family would like to offer a special thank you with sincere appreciation for your prayers and all the acts of kindness during our time of bereavement. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of South Fallsburg, from 10-11:00am. A funeral service will begin at the church at 11:00am with Pastor Daniel LeRoy Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Wild Cemetery, Glen Wild, NY.
