Obituary of Walter C Meyer

Walter C. Meyer of Livingston Manor formerly of Bloomingburg passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 74. He was the son of the late Curt and Dora Kemptor Meyer, he was born on January 15, 1940 in the Bronx, NY. Walter was a loving, caring person that was always looking to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed playing the lotto and chess. He was a loving husband and father but he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and his feline companion Angel. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife Catherine Meyer of 53 years, his children William Ferguson and his wife Andrea of NJ, Edward Arabia-Meyer and his wife Angela Arabia-Meyer of NJ., Patricia Meade and her husband David of Livingston Manor., his sister Martha Shankland of CA., grandchildren Stephanie and Andrew Ferguson, Corrina, Elena, Dakota, and Edison Arabia-Meyer, Jennifer and Stephanie Meade and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street Livingston Manor, NY 12788 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 8:30pm.
