Obituary of Rafael Gandulla

Ralph "Rafael" Gandulla of Monticello passed away peacefully with his family by his side at NY Presbyterians Hospital on Friday, November 07, 2014. He was 70. He was the son of the late Ernesto Gandulla Ramos and Maria Elisa Gandulla, he was born on July 1, 1944 in Puerto Rico. In the past he enjoyed hunting, but his true passion was being a vendor at local flea markets. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed deeply by everyone that knew and loved him. He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years Helen Gandulla, his children Ralph Gandulla of Rock Hill, Mark Gandulla of Roscoe, Jamy Flynn and her husband Bryce of Monticello, Jeffrey Gandulla of New Jersey and his wife Martha, his grandchildren Gavin Gandulla, Taylor Thomas, Riley, Keegan, Joaquin, Mateo Gandulla, one brother Ray Gandulla and his wife Luz, six step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788. There will be a funeral service Sunday evening at the funeral home at 8:00pm., with Pastor David Coon officiating. A graveside service will be on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Rock Ridge Cemetery, East Broadway, Monticello, NY at 3:00pm.
