Obituary of Donnamarie Ann Pasciucci-Horos

Donnamarie Pasciucco Horos has entered into eternal peace at the age of 47, after battling pancreatic cancer. She passed away in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. She was born on June 4, 1966 in Yonkers, NY to the late Carmine Pasciucco and the late Virginia LaVista-Pasciucco. She grew up in Mahopac where she attended school and made the greatest of friendships anyone could have ever asked for. Donna is survived by her loving husband, best friend and hunting partner, Steve Horos; their children, Danamarie Pasciucco-Cappelli and her husband, Daniel, and two precious granddaughters, Nicole and Sophia, and grandson, Daniel; and daughter, Virginia Pasciucco-Lari. She leaves behind her older sister, Joanne Porcelli and brother-in-law, Michael of Mahopac; and her youngest sister, Virginia DiCostanzo and companion, Jake Brooks of Neversink. Donna also leaves behind many nieces and nephews including her great niece, Vanessa; many cousins and friends and co-workers of which were so important to her as she loved so many as so many loved her. She had a passion of love for her dogs and was an avid bow and rifle hunter. She was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club, along with the Catskill Mountain Archers. She was employed with Phoenix Beverages for the last 13 years of her life where she loved her job with such enthusiasm and truly enjoyed the remarkable people that embarked her work life. She treated her co-workers and her accounts as if they were her family and had such a great relationship with all of them which was the reason she loved her job so much. Visitation will be on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 3 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 2 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send perennials, shrubbery or plants so the family can plant them around their property in memory of Donna.
