Obituary of Genia Wilson

Genia Wilson, of Hurleyville since 1983, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of CRMC. She was 87. Genia was born on September 8, 1926 in Bialystok, Poland to the late Jankel Jankielewski and Sarah Chaplinska. Genia was the widow of Mark Wilson to whom she was married to for 61 years. She was a gentle but firm woman who nurtured and help provide for her family against all obstacles. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. She was truly a beloved and devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grand mother. She is survived by her daughter, Marion Wilson; twin sons: James Wilson and Herman and his wife, Karen Wilson; five grandchildren: Heath Wilson, Adam Penn, Sarina Penn, Erin Wilson and Liana Penn; and one great granddaughter, Abigail Rose. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Monday, November 4th at Congregation Anschei Hurleyville; Rabbi Hillel Grossman will officiate.
