Obituary of Tommie Miller

Tommie Miller "Dump" of South Fallsburg passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Catkskill Regional Medical Center. He was 82. Tommie was one of six children born to the late Will Miller and Willie Lou Richardson, born on December 3, 1931 in Uniontown, AL. Dump participated in the adult education program where he improved his reading and mathematics skills; which he was very proud of. He loved to read; on his spare time he enjoyed playing pool, gambling, playing poker and rummy. On, August 5, 2012 he confessed and received the Lord in the presences of Rev. Graves, and friends Landell and Dorothy, from then on he would pray on a regular basis. He was a kind hearted man that will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his three sisters Kizzie Rodgers and Lillie Farrow both of Alabama, and Mary Turner of Chicago, his dear friends Landell and Dorothy Fields and his extended family of South Fallsburg and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service at the First Baptist Church of South Fallsburg, 5258 Main Street, South Fallsburg, NY 12779 on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1:00pm.
