Obituary of Beverly Mae Youmans

Beverly Mae Youmans of Neversink passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center SNU. She was 87. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Mildred Lempke Brown, born on July 14, 1925 in Johnson City, NY. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Start Chapter #443. Beverly was a waitress at Sullivans Burger Bar and at Tri-Angle Dinner. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her children: Loretta Strangeway and her husband, Richard of Kissimmee, Fl., Charles Youmans and his wife, Abbe of Neversink; her grandchildren: Michael Strangeway and his companion Renee Johnson, Kristen Stephany and her husband Andy, Eric Youmans and his wife Stephanie, Jessica and Brett Youmans; her great-grandsons: Michael Strangeway Jr., and Nathan Stephany; her siblings Lynn Brown of Driden, NY, Arthur Brown of Laurinburg, NC, Joyce Orton of Berkshire, NY, and Richard Brown of Richford, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, George E. Youmans. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Service of the Eastern Star at 7:30pm followed by a funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday evening at 8 p.m. Rev.
