Obituary of Dolly Mae Lewis

Dolly Mae Lewis of Livingston Manor passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 peacefully at home. She was 67. She was the daughter of the late Ollen Sr. and Jennie McKune Eck born on April 16, 1947 in Livingston Manor, NY. For many years Dolly worked in the cafeteria at Livingston Manor School and at Walnut Mountain Nursing Home. She was a great cook and baker. Dolly always made her home a warm and inviting place for all to come and visit. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years Donald Lewis, her children Dolly Daubek and her husband Bill of Livingston Manor, Richard Lewis and his fiance Cathy Roser, her granddaughters Heather Lewis and her fiance Jeremy Smith and Cassidy Lewis, one great granddaughter Rihley Jae Smith, her siblings Rose McGreevy and her husband Frank of Livingston Manor, Ollen Eck Jr. and his wife Marie of Livingston Manor, and Jennifer Eck of Missouri, great niece and nephew Kaleigh and Devin Gonalez, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 1-3:00pm. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 3:00pm.
