Obituary of Kim Salmono
Kim Fima Salomon of Forestburgh, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 after a long illness. She was 65. She is the daughter of Harold Cicio and the late Mary Kopatz Cicio.
Kim split her college career between Sullivan and Dutchess County Community College. Upon graduating with an Associate Degree in Medical Technology, Kim took a job as a medical assistant to Dr. Wolf Laitner. After years of service in her field of study she decided to move on, it proved to be a wise decision.
She was a partner along with her husband, Arthur of the Yankee Barn Company. Not only was Kim amazing and a beautiful woman, she was also a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, sister and best friend. Kim gave love to everything she touched; her real passion in life was her family, friends and pets. She had an unlimited capacity for giving. She had a unique, "outrageous" and witty sense of humor. She fought a long hard battle with lung disease and through it all she never gave up; she kept us laughing all through her illness was always thinking of others. She will be sadly missed by all the lives she touched and will be remembered always with great love and affection leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Arthur Salomon; son, Michael Salomon of Rock Hill; her father, Harold Cicio of Woodridge; her siblings, Natalie Churak and her husband, Alex, Judy Clark and her husband, Charlie; several nieces and nephews, and her very special dog, Mackenzie. She was predeceased by her brother, Alex Cousinin and his wife, Anna.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to friend and caregiver, Louise Seitz.
