Obituary of Mary T. DeGraw

Mary T. DeGraw of Palm Beach Gardens passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. She was the daughter of the late John and Allie Wilson Tierney, born on May 31, 1926 in Monticello. She was a phone operator for many years and managed a construction business. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two sons: Russell "Pete" DeGraw and his wife, Peggy of Florida, John Wayne DeGraw and his wife, Lynne of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren: Neeka Jaccarino, Joseph, Gavin, Kristin, Travis, Ryan, Casey, and Brittany DeGraw; three great grandchildren: Anahlea, Eden and Cameron Jaccarino; her sisters: Alice Pammer and husband, Bill of Harris, NY, Catherine Rogers and husband, Neil of CT, Pat Means and husband, Lyle of CA; and her brother, John Tierney and his wife, Nancy of CA, as well as a host of friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell A. DeGraw in 1998 as well as her brother, Gary Tierney and his wife, Barbara. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 9th at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10th at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 6317 NY 42, Woodbourne, NY 12788. Interment will be 12 noon on Wednesday, June 11th at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
