Obituary of Veronica F. Juliano
Veronica F. Juliano of Little Egg Harbor, NJ., passed away at Catskill Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. She was 66.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Blaney Nunzio, born on March 26, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ.
Veronica was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ.; she graduated from Dickinson High School in 1966. From 1978-1990 she lived in Hazlet, NJ, before she relocated to Rio Rancho, New Mexico from 1990-1998. When she finally returned to New Jersey the state she loved she was there from 1998-2013. After July of 2013, she wanted to be closer to her daughter so she moved one final time to New York and lived at Sullivan County Adult Care Center. For many years she worked at Charles of the Ritz from 1980-1986 when the plant closed.
She was active in the Teamsters Union often organizing rallies as well as a Rally on Wall Street in NYC. In 1987 she returned to school for her medical assistant degree were she was top of her class with a grade point average of 4.0. She will be missed for her wonderful sense of humor and her pranks in her younger days.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. Her three grandchildren were the love of her life she loved spending as much time with them as possible.
She is survived by her husband George Juliano of Little Egg Harbor, NJ., her daughter Michele DiToro of Woodbourne, NY., and the lights of her life Emily, Angelina and Christopher DiToro.
Funeral services were handled privately at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Sullivan County Adult Care Center for their exceptional care and compassion throughout her stay there and the support they gave her family; especially her favorites Tara, Judy, Jen and Erica.
