Obituary of Kevin Mark Brown

Kevin Mark Brown of Monticello departed from this life Monday, September 15th 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be dearly missed. Kevin was born the son of Joseph and Dolores Brown in New York City on January 18th, 1962, He was 52 years old. Kevin leaves behind his loving wife Mae Helen Copeland and son Kevin Tamel Brown. Along with his two step-sons Robert Copeland and Ricky and his wife Tasha Copeland and his mother-in-law Dorothy Brooks. Kevin had a host of Grand Children, Great Grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Kevin predeceased by his brother Keith Brown, a special Aunt Miriam, an Uncle Dave and his nephew Troy Tamel Brown. Kevin was always a very enthusiastic and energetic person when it came to education and learning. Kevin always enjoyed learning something new. He was educated within the New York Public School System and in high school was proud to have the opportunity to be a foreign exchange student and travel throughout Europe, which he would do again later in his adult life. But most importantly of all Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. A coming home ceremony will be held for Kevin on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 396 State Rt 52 Woodbourne NY 12788. Visitation will begin at 11 o'clock and the funeral service will follow beginning at 12 noon. Reverend James Matthews will be officiating.
