Obituary of Gary Scott Krivit
Gary Scott Krivit of Monticello, formerly of Roscoe, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was 61.
He was the son of the late Eli and Gloria Bressler Krivit, born on August 7, 1952 in the Bronx.
Gary was a Nurse Practitioner who was caring and compassionate to all of his patients. He worked at several different places such as Dr. Paul Salzberg office, the Recovery Center in Monticello and Job Corps in Callicoon. In his spare time he loved being and swimming at the beach. He was a great storyteller that loved the NY Yankees. He was a loving and proud father, grandfather that will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, David Krivit and his wife, Melissa; his daughter, Molly Krivit and her companion, William; his grandchildren, Evelyn and David Jack Krivit; his ex-wife and friend, Alicia Krivit; his sister, Lynne Wasserman and her husband, Gerald; his nephews, Evan Wasserman and his wife, Jessica, Peter Wasserman and his wife, Amanda, and their children; his brother-in-law, Paul Salzberg and his wife, Greta and their children, Gavin Salzberg and Holly Salzberg and her companion, Fernando; his cousins, Joyce Davis, Stuie Davis, Robert Segal, Wendy Segal and their children.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Thursday at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl St., Livingston Manor, NY 12758. There will be a Graveside Service at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 13th at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
