Rosa Elena Friedberg May 1, 1937 - September 18, 2014 Liberty, NY Rosa Elena Friedberg of Liberty passed away, at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, on September 18, 2014, she was 77. Rosa was born in Puerto Rico on May 1, 1937 and was raised by her father Ramon Perez. She will be dearly missed. Rosa worked at Sullivan County Headstart and was a committed member of The Rebeccas Foundation. But foremost she was dedicated to her children. Rosa leaves behind a host of caring family and friends. Including her daughter Sandra and husband Edwin Martinez; Sons Victor, Isadore and Daniel Friedberg; Grandchildren Sherri, Sharri, Erin, Edwin, Joseph, Jonathon, Daniel, Jocelyn, Andrew, Gabrielle, Victoria, Daniel, Laura Elena, Avi, Brandon and Jacob. And her brother Effrain "Frank" Torres. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12 to 2 PM at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne NY 12788. Funeral Service will take place at 2 PM at the funeral home, Rabbi Stamler officiating. Services were under the direction of Colonial Memorial Funeral Home.
