Obituary of Polly D. Clansy

Polly D. Clansy of South Fallsburg passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was 82. She was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Mary Turner Redding, born on November 17, 1931 in Uniontown, AL. On June 24, 1951 she married Eddie C. Clansy who predeceased her in 2012. She was a dedicated and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of South Fallsburg. She was also a member of the OES Star Light Chapter 74. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend that will be deeply missed. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Eddie Clansy Jr. and wife, Diann: three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; her sister, Willie Jones and brother, Moses Redding and his wife, Ellerine; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She is predeceased by three sisters. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st at First Baptist Church of Fallsburg on Main Street, So. Fallsburg, NY. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the church; Rev. Norman Graves Sr. will officiate. Interment will take place at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty.
