Obituary of Kathleen P. Morris Jewell

Kathleen P. Morris Jewell of Grahamsville passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2012 with her family by her side. She was 85. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma Morris Stevens born on September 4, 1926 in Warwick, NY. Kathleen enjoyed many things such as gardening and watching golf. She was an avid Giants fan; but above everything else she loved to spend time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that will be missed deeply. She is survived by her children Nancy Jewell-Asche and her husband Charles of Vancouver, WA, Michael Jewell of Park Ridge, NJ, Cherie Hamilton and her husband Donald of Grahamsville, NY, grandchildren Megan Conklin, and Taylor Hamilton and great grandchildren Justina Conklin and Ethan Conklin, her brother Richard Morris and his wife Irene of Maine, sister-in-law Joyce Morris of Spring Valley, and her niece (daughter) Robyn Harm and her husband Daniel of Garnerville and many lifelong and special friends. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Jewell, her sister Jean and her brother Walter. A memorial service in Kate?s honor will be held in the spring. Donations in Kathleen?s name can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Court, Newburgh, NY, or Grahamsville Ambulance Squad.
