Obituary of Gasper A. Dolce

Gasper A. "Gabby" Dolce of Livingston Manor passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center her. He was 82. He was the son of the late Alfred and Antoinette Dolce, born on August 20, 1931 in the Bronx. He proudly served our country in the United State Army during the Korean Conflict. He originally was from the Bronx but moved to this area about 20 years ago and made this his home. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting and gardening. Gaspers biggest attribute is that he always put others first; he was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. On his free time he loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He is survived by his beloved wife Helen Dolce, his two sons Alfred Dolce and his wife Donna and Nicholas Dolce and his wife Cathy, his five grandchildren Matthew, Gina, Nicholas Jr., Christopher and Anthony Dolce, one brother Carmine Dolce and his wife Barbara and one sister Johanna Vessey and a host of friends. Visitation will be on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00am Father Bader will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY.
