Obituary of Robert Edwin Graver

Robert "Bob" Edwin Graver of Roscoe passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. He was 83. He was the son of the late Walter and Ruth Joscelyn Graver born on February 6, 1930 in Long Island, NY. Bob proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1948-1952. He later took up the trade of plumbing; and was self-employed and was a member of the Local # 373. He enjoyed antique cars and going to yard sales. He was a hands on type of man and could fix anything. Above everything else he was always looking to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will truly be missed by his friends and family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Carol Bowers and her husband Kenneth of Roscoe, his grandchildren Devin R. Bowers, Shane K. Bowers and his wife Jamie, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jean H. Havaner Graver in 1974, one sister Lucille Chickene and his companion Nellie Marks Vogt. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the funeral home at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Beaverkill Cemetery, Beaverkill, NY.
