I knew Althea from my time in the program YAP.... Newburgh. She was probably the first person to show me kindness. My memories of her I have treasured a long time, afraid to look and see she was no longer with us. I remember thinking with a young mind she was old and wise. When she left for Hawaii I was devastated. I thought that was it..... I'm terribly sad to know when I was back in NY in 2012 maybe I could have seen her and thanked her. I think of her every single day of my life. I'm so very sorry for your loss. ❤️
